Message	that are louder than others with the exact same muffler and size on different cars. My guess is that they are not always packed as tight as they could be that cause the difference. I have notice the 3 inch have less BOOM at 2500 rpm and I think it is because the frequency happens to be better with the 3 inch pipe.
